Thread your thread onto the end of the needle, tie a knot at the end of the thread, or leave it tied to a spool. Fill the bowl about halfway with sand beads. Turn the center shaft counterclockwise and the beads will be pulled out of the bowl. Hold the needle with the right hand and move the needle towards the outer wall of the bowl. The beads will string onto the needle very quickly.
